1 airlifted to hospital after solo wreck in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, FL – One person was transported via a MedFlight helicopter to Gulf Coast Hospital following a single-vehicle wreck Sunday.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office told NBC-2 that this crash happened on Burnt Store Road, south of Burnt Store Marina. Deputies begun an investigation and have not specified the events that led to this crash, stated the number of occupants involved, or listed any pending citations or charges.
