1 critically hurt, 1 killed in Lehigh Acres hit-and-run
LEHIGH ACRES, FL – A motorcycle passenger was left in critical condition, and a motorcycle operator died after their bike was struck by a driver who fled the scene Thursday.
This collision took place in the area of Rena Avenue South and 40th Street Southwest, according to NBC-2.
Florida Highway Patrol believes that the suspect was driving a 2007 to 2019 GMC Sierra or Chevrolet Silverado, which sustained damage in the wreck. They have not located them at this time.
In addition, troopers did not specify the current physical condition of the motorcycle operator, who remains hospitalized, nor have they released the victim’s name.
