1 dead, 2 Miami police officers hurt after crash with box truck

MIAMI, FL – Two Miami police officers were sent to the hospital, and a box truck driver was left dead after a crash Friday.

The collision took place at the intersection of Northwest 25th Ave. and Northwest 26th St. before noon, NBC Miami revealed.

The exact details leading up to the crash were not specified. However, the impact caused the box truck driver to crash into a fence. As seen from the footage, the box truck is leaning against the curb, and the debris from the vehicle spilled onto a lawn.

The officers’ current conditions were not specified. The box truck driver was taken to a hospital, where he or she later died.
