1 dies, 2 hospitalized when driver runs red light, causes Miami crash
MIAMI, FL – A man and a woman had to go to a hospital, and another man lost his life when one of the drivers had supposedly run a red light and then crashed into another vehicle.
WSVN said this incident happened around 2 a.m. in the vicinity of Northwest 22nd Avenue and Northwest 79th Street. The source indicated an eyewitness and said that a driver of a dark-colored sedan who was supposedly speeding and ran a red light.
The Miami-Dade Police Department and Miami Fire Rescue did not provide many details surrounding this collision but did say the woman (who sustained some type of head injury) and the man were transported to Ryder Trauma Center, where they are listed in critical condition.
The other man succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
