1 hospitalized after car overturns, hits palm tree in St. Augustine
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – One person was flown via a medical helicopter after their car overturned and came to rest against a palm tree on St. John’s Parkway Friday.
At the time of First Coast News’ reporting, crews and St. John County deputies had closed most lanes and only left one northbound lane open to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation.
By 4 p.m., heavy traffic was still seen in the area.
First responders have not disclosed the exact cause of this wreck nor said if anyone would be cited or charged for their involvement.
