1 hospitalized after Miami Lakes semi, sedan collision

MIAMI LAKES, FL – One person was flown via a helicopter to a hospital after their green sedan collided with a semi-truck along the Miami Lakes Educational Center Tuesday. 

NBC Miami said this crash happened at the Northwest 158th Street and Northwest 57th Avenue junction. The impact left the driver of the green sedan entrapped or pinned. First responders were able to extricate them by removing the roof from their sedan. 

Officials have not disclosed the events leading up to this crash or said if anyone was injured.
