1 hospitalized after rollover-extrication crash in Miami
MIAMI, FL – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews had to extricate one person from their overturned car before an ambulance could send them to a hospital Friday.
According to NBC Miami, this solo collision occurred around 7 a.m. in the vicinity of Northwest 183rd Street and I-95. While details behind this wreck are scarce, it appears one of the palm trees came tumbling down right after the gray vehicle struck it prior to its overturning. Footage also indicates deployed airbags.
Fire crews confirmed that hydraulic tools played a key role in the excitation process.
At the time of the reporting, authorities said the person was taken to North Trauma Center. However, their current physical condition has not been disclosed.
