1 hospitalized, another missing after boat crash in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – One person is missing after falling off a 20-foot boat, and another was sent to a hospital after the boat collided with a barge Wednesday.
Tampa Police and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission told WTSP this collision happened around 4:15 a.m. near the Howard Franklin Bridge.
The U.S. Coast Guard was also summoned to the scene. At this time, they and authorities have not been able to locate the missing person.
In addition, officials did not provide an update on the physical condition of the person who was hospitalized.
