1 hurt, 1 killed in Mount Dora van-pedestrian crash
MOUNT DORA, FL – A man was walking on North Orange Blossom Trail when he was struck by a van Tuesday.
The collision happened near Stoneybrook Hills Parkway, near the Orange-Lake county line, according to Click Orlando. Troopers said he did not use a crosswalk. The 62-year-old man from Astatula succumbed to fatal injuries.
The van driver, a 62-year-old woman from Altamonte Springs, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Waterman Hospital.
