1 hurt after car surfing stunt at Lake Mary High School
LAKE MARY, FL – One student was hurt after a reckless driving incident that occurred in Lake Mary High School’s parking lot Wednesday.
A driver of an Infiniti, who was later identified as 18-year-old Hunter Hamilton, a student of Lake Mary High School, was traveling at a high rate while another student was on the roof of his car. The dangerous driving led Hamilton to then crash into a parked GMC Acadia SUV, WFLA reported.
The student on top of the car could not hang on, slid off, and ran away from the collision.
Hamilton was arrested, and his charges consisted of “reckless driving and culpable negligence.” Two other students were inside the Infiniti at the time of the crash. One was reported to have suffered a head injury. That student’s current condition is unknown.
