1 killed, 1 hurt in motorcycle vs. pickup truck in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A pickup truck driver was sent to the hospital, and a motorcyclist was killed when their vehicles collided in Uptown Tampa Monday, WTSP confirmed.
This deadly crash took place on the 2200 block of East Fowler Avenue. It is unclear who had the right of way.
The pickup truck driver is expected to be okay, sustaining minor wounds. However, the motorcyclist succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene, despite conducting life-saving measures.
Tampa Police did temporarily block off eastbound Fowler Avenue between North 22nd Street and North 30th Street.
