1 killed, 2 hospitalized after I-4 rear-end crash in Maitland
MAITLAND, FL – Two were sent to the hospital, and one was left dead after a rear-end crash on I-4 on Saturday.
According to WESH, a driver of a 2007 Honda Civic was driving in the outside left lane and collided with the back of a stationary 2014 Ford Focus.
Officials said the Ford Focus had a flat tire when two passengers from that vehicle were standing outside when the Ford hit them.
The driver of the Civic and the Ford passengers – two 20-year-old women – were transported to a hospital.
The Civic driver and one of the Ford occupants were both seriously injured, while the other Ford passenger succumbed to her injuries.
