1 life claimed in auto accident-shooting in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A man passed away following a single-vehicle wreck that came about after someone shot him Sunday night.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told Action News Jax that after 9:35 p.m., someone fired their gun at a man while he was operating a vehicle. The gunshot wound that came about made it difficult for the man to drive, leading him to lose control of the steering wheel and crash his car.
Upon arrival, Jacksonville Fire Rescue crews rushed the male driver, the sole occupant, of his car to a local hospital. There, the man succumbed to fatal injuries.
