1 trapped following SUV rollover wreck in Naples

NAPLES, FL – One SUV overturned and landed on its side on I-75 South (near mile marker 108), trapping one person inside the vehicle Tuesday.

NBC-2 said the rollover happened before 12:30 a.m. after the SUV was struck by the driver of a white car, who then fled the scene on foot. The SUV occupant was extricated. It is not immediately clear if they were injured or were taken to a hospital.

The driver who pursued the hit-and-run left their damaged vehicle behind. Officials had used an aviation device to try and locate the suspect. However, they have not mentioned if they were caught at this time.
