19-year-old women killed in Miami Gardens hit-and-run crash
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – Two pedestrians were hit and died after getting hit by a car around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
The collision occurred on the 16300 block of NW 42nd Avenue, CBS Miami reported.
Officials said a driver, a 35-year-old man, was traveling at a high rate in his silver Infiniti when he struck two Florida Memorial University students.
The man did not render aid and fled the scene on foot. He tried to enter someone’s home, and shots were fired. The man was arrested, and unspecified charges are pending.
Both pedestrians were 19-year-old young women, one of whom was identified as Asiayanna Green.
