2-auto wreck with rollover in South Fort Myers sends 1 to hospital
SOUTH FORT MYERS, FL – One driver was taken to a hospital after two vehicles collided, one of which overturned, south of Hammond Stadium.
This collision happened at the 6-mile Cypress Parkway and Plantation Road junction, according to NBC-2. Officials said it was a pickup truck that rolled over and was totaled.
South Trail Fire and Rescue District, who were among the emergency crews, said the other person involved may have been transported to a hospital as well. However, they have yet to confirm that detail or specify the events leading up to this collision.
First responders closed the area to accommodate the scene clearance process.
