2 drivers hospitalized after Sarasota SUV, school bus crash

SARASOTA, FL – A driver of a Ford Bronco and a school bus were transported to a hospital after their vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon.

According to FOX 13 News, this crash happened at the Clark Road and South Beneva Road intersection in the Gulf Gate Estates neighborhood. Prior to the collision, the driver and the 35 students on the bus were coming from Suncoast Polytechnical High School.

Among all the bus passengers, four students were examined and received medical attention for injuries.

First responders shut down all Beneva Road travel lanes.
