2 hospitalized after 2-auto accident in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – When two vehicles collided near Rowlett Park, it led one of them to ram into a fence, sending both drivers to the hospital Wednesday. 

ABC Action News said this collision happened before 7 a.m. at the East Busch Boulevard and North 16th Street intersection. 

Early details from Tampa Police indicate that one motorist was going east on Busch and went into the westbound lanes, striking another vehicle, specifically on its front passenger side door.

Police said both drivers tried to avoid hitting each other. Upon colliding, first responders took them to an area medical facility where they were receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
