2 hospitalized after hit-and-run motorcycle crash in Miami’s Allapattah
MIAMI, FL – Two people were injured early Tuesday when they were hit by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle together in north Miami, reports NBC Miami.
The accident happened in the area of Northwest 36th Street and Northwest 7th Avenue, at around 3:25 a.m.
Although the events leading up to the wreck were not immediately clear, the two victims, described only as a man and a woman, had to be rushed to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Responding crews had the area shut down with police tape during the response and investigation.
Detectives are working to determine the identity of the fleeing driver.
