2 hospitalized after SW Orlando fiery crash

SOUTHWEST ORLANDO, FL – Two people were sent to the hospital after their pickup truck crashed into a tree and caught on fire in Southwest Orlando Thursday.

The crash happened before 2 a.m. at the northbound Winter Garden Vineland Road and Equestrian Drive junction along the Royal Cypress Preserve, FOX 35 Orlando reported.

It is unclear what caused the driver of the 2014 Ram 1500 to collide with the tree. The driver, along with the passenger, were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
