2 hospitalized following Miami Gardens shooting-crash
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A shooting led one driver to crash their car into a tree in the Scott Lake neighborhood, resulting in two men having to go to the hospital Thursday.
The shooting-turned-crash unfolded before 6 p.m. on the 1700 block of NW 183rd Street adjacent to Rolling Oaks Park, according to an NBC Miami report.
Officials said one wounded man suffered injuries because he was shot, while the other was hurt due to the impact of the collision. One man was airlifted to a hospital, while the other was transported via an ambulance to a medical facility.
The conditions of the men have not been made available. In addition, authorities have not indicated what brought on the shooting and reported any pending charges.
