2 hospitalized following SR-429 collision in Apopka
APOPKA, FL – First responders took one person to Orlando Regional Medical Center and another to Arnold Palmer Hospital after a crash on SR-429 Saturday.
According to WESH, this collision happened on the northbound lanes adjacent to mile marker 35, north of the Yothers Road bridge. Traffic footage indicated an emergency medical helicopter leaving the area, but authorities did not confirm whether either or both occupants were airlifted.
Orange County Fire Rescue crews did not provide an update on the victims’ conditions nor did other authorities indicate the events leading up to this crash.
