The impact of the head-on collision caused the car to spin and get struck by an SUV that was driving behind the pick-up truck.
The driver of the SUV, a 28-year-old woman, was seriously injured, and the pickup truck driver, a 57-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
The driver and passenger of the car, both 29-year-old men, succumbed to fatal injuries.
