2 lives claimed in 2-auto crash in Sarasota Co.
SARASOTA COUNTY, FL – Two people lost their lives following a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 41 Sunday, WTSP reported.
Florida Highway Patrol said this crash happened when one of the drivers, traveling north on an “outside lane” on U.S. 41 had collided with a driver going east on Seminole.
The impact of this wreck caused one of the drivers to then strike a traffic control cabinet, sign, and control mast, claiming the life of that driver and their passenger.
While the details behind Sunday’s collision remain scarce, FHP was able to confirm that both automobiles entered on a green light.
Officials did not disclose the exact cause of this collision nor the genders of the two people who passed away.
