2 lives claimed in Bonita Springs chain-reaction wreck
BONITA SPRINGS, FL – An SUV driver crashed into the back of a sedan, which then led to a chain-reaction crash involving two other vehicles, claiming the lives of two people.
This collision occurred before 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, Thursday at the US Highway 41 & Bernwood Parkway intersection, NBC-2 reported. The force of this crash led the sedan driver to hit a northbound motorcycle and the motorcyclist to then hit a van. As a result, the motorcycle operator and passenger were thrown from their vehicle.
Florida Highway Patrol indicated a 59-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man succumbed to fatal wounds. Troopers did not specify if they were the motorcycle occupants or passengers from the van, SUV, or sedan.
The rest of the involved parties were either unharmed or sustained minor wounds.
