2 sent to hospital after sedan hits bus in NE Ft. Myers
FORT MYERS, FL – Two people were hurt due to a bus collision Monday evening, July 15, in northeast Fort Myers, according to WINK.
The incident unfolded at the intersection with Palm Beach Boulevard, or State Route 80.
A preliminary investigation by Fort Myers Police Department indicates that a driver in a sedan did not come to a full stop, causing the vehicle to strike a bus.
First responders transported two people from the scene to a hospital for minor injuries. Officials did not clarify whether the two patients were the occupants of the striking car or passengers on the bus.
An investigation remains underway, and no charges or citations have been reported.
