2 trucks collide on I-75 in Tampa after road rage episode

TAMPA, FL – A road-raging episode prompted a crash on southbound I-75 between two 18-wheelers Thursday.

According to CBS 12, a driver of a green Toyota sedan cut off a dump truck driver. The impact caused the truck driver to press hard on the brakes and spin, which led to the two tractor-trailers colliding with each other.

No injuries were reported.

The driver of the Toyota fled the scene. Officials are asking anyone with information about this driver or Thursday’s collision to contact them.
