SEFFNER, FL – One was injured, and two lives were claimed in two separate hit-and-run crashes on U.S. 92 over the weekend.
According to FOX 13 News, the first collision happened along Pasadena Drive and was between a westbound pedestrian and a vehicle. Officials said the automobile that struck the man was either a pick-up truck or a small van.
The driver of that vehicle hit the 61-year-old man walking along the road and immediately fled the scene.
The second incident happened near Charlie Taylor Road. Florida Highway Patrol believes either a 2004 to 2007 gray Mercedes-Benz C-Class or silver Mercedes traveling east hit two pedestrians in the area. It was a 28-year-old man who sustained unspecified injuries and a 40-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
