2 women killed in Jacksonville auto-pedestrian crash
JACKSONVILLE, FL – Two women were killed Sunday night when they were hit by a vehicle in southwest Jacksonville , according to WJXT.
Troopers say the women were crossing Normandy Boulevard near the intersection with Blair Road when they were hit by a westbound SUV.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Their identities are not available at this time.
The SUV’s driver, a 60-year-old woman, was unhurt. It is unclear whether she will face any charges or citations in connection to the deadly crash.
