Woman killed, 3 critically hurt in Jacksonville head-on wreck
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A 40-year-old woman driving an SUV lost her life after she crashed head-on with another vehicle Saturday, leaving three other people in critical condition.
According to First Coast News, the collision unfolded when the 40-year-old woman, going south on Old Middleburg Road, drifted into the northbound lanes and caused her SUV to strike the other vehicle.
The 40-year-old woman died at the scene, while her passenger and the two others from the victim vehicle — the driver and a passenger — were taken to an area hospital for unspecified injuries.
