3 drivers fatally hit pedestrian in Bradenton
BRADENTON, FL – A 49-year-old man, a Bradenton local, passed away when he was struck by drivers of three vehicles on State Road 70 Sunday.
The Bradenton Herald said this collision happened before 7 p.m., west of 15th Street, when the man, a pedestrian, tried to cross the southbound lanes and then was first hit by a 25-year-old woman from Manatee County. The impact of this wreck ejected the man and he was then struck by two other vehicles.
Florida Highway Patrol announced the pedestrian dead at the scene and have not mentioned any pending charges or citations. On a similar note, a male pedestrian also passed away after he was struck by a vehicle, a semi-truck, on Friday also near (down the road from) Manasota Memorial Park.
