3 hurt, woman loses life in Fort Lauderdale chain-reaction wreck
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Three people sustained injuries, and a 23-year-old woman lost her life following a chain-reaction collision on SR-84 Sunday.
This crash happened around 4 a.m. WSVN said the events of this collision unfolded when a driver of a red Kia Forte struck a concrete median wall, leading a motorist of a black Mercedes-Benz SUV to then hit a red Kia.
After this initial collision, the driver of a black Kia Forte — the 23-year-old woman — exited her vehicle to assist the occupants from this crash and was hit by a silver Cadillac ATS.
The driver of the ATS struck the 23-year-old woman when they collided with a black Lexus sedan.
Two passengers from the ATS sustained unspecified wounds, and its driver was left in critical condition.
The 23-year-old woman has been identified as Yanaisa Pulido.
Officials shut down all of the southbound lanes. They launched an investigation and have not included other details at this time.
