3 injured in 4-vehicle crash on A1A in Hallandale Beach

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – 3 people were rushed to the hospital following a four-vehicle crash on A1A in Hallandale Beach on Thursday morning.

The four-vehicle collision took where A1A intersects with La Mer Drive near Hallandale Beach Boulevard, WSVN reported.

First responders say a southbound pickup truck hit three additional vehicles that were stopped at the intersection. A silver sedan sustained significant damage, while a red sedan was pinned under the pickup truck.

Two people were taken to Aventura Hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. A third person was also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

At the time of reporting, Ocean Drive was blocked between Hallandale Beach Boulevard and La Mer Drive.
