3 paramedics, 1 other injured in firetruck crash at Pompano Beach intersection
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A crash involving a firetruck Thursday in Pompano Beach left three Fire Rescue paramedics and one other person injured, according to 6 South Florida.
The accident happened in the area of Northwest 31st Avenue and M.L.K Jr. Boulevard.
A preliminary investigation shows that the rescue unit was transporting a patient when the firetruck they were traveling in collided with a white truck.
While the patient was not reported hurt, the three paramedics and one person from the other vehicle were taken to an area hospital. Officials said the injuries sustained are not life-threatening.
An investigation remains in progress.
