5 killed in fiery SUV, motorcycle wreck in Estero
ESTERO, FL – A motorcycle and an SUV collided at US Highway 41 and Williams Road, leading both vehicles to catch fire and resulting in five suffering fatal wounds.
Florida Highway Patrol told NBC-2 that the collision occurred around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday when the SUV driver made a left turn, leading the motorcyclist, later identified as Malachi Parker, to hit the side of the SUV. As a result, the SUV overturned, trapping Parker and the four other SUV occupants.
All passengers were extricated and died from their injuries. It is unclear if they were sent to a hospital, where they later died, or were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the names and identities of the other deceased people involved in this collision.
