53-year-old dead following crash with utility pole in Hilliard

HILLIARD, FL – A man was killed on Sunday evening after crashing his Ford Escape into a utility pole on U.S. Highway 1 in Hillard.

The collision occurred around 7 p.m., according to News 4 Jax. It is unclear what caused the vehicle to crash into the pole. 

The driver, an unidentified 53-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.
