67-year-old man dead after crash with tree in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A man’s life was claimed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning, Action News Jax reported. 

The collision occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Loretta Road. 

Officials speculated that the man could have experienced a medical episode, which may have caused him to lose control of his pickup truck and collide with a tree. 

The 67-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to fatal injuries.
