Driver hurt in fiery 3-vehicle crash in Miami Lakes
MIAMI LAKES, FL – One was hospitalized after a three-vehicle fiery crash on southbound SR-826 before 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The collision occurred along I-75, NBC Miami reported. Florida Highway Patrol said a Dodge and Ford Van, as well as a Subru, stopped in traffic when a driver of a gray Mercedes SUV could not stop and collided with the Subaru.
The Subaru was kindled, and the flames spread to the Mercedes and one van. Miami-Dade fire crews extinguished the flames.
One person was flown by helicopter to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials did not confirm additional injuries and what the contributing factors were.
