Man, 56, hospitalized after Collier Co. 2-truck crash

COLLIER COUNTY, FL – A two-truck collision on U.S. 41 left a driver with serious injuries Wednesday, NBC-2 reported.

The crash happened before 7:45 a.m. A box truck driver was heading east and swerved into the westbound lanes, colliding head-on with a tow truck. The impact caused the box truck to come to rest near a canal.

The driver of the box truck, a 56-year-old man, was taken to a hospital for his injuries.
