57-year-old Jacksonville man killed in motorcycle crash on Arlington Expy.
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on the Arlington Expressway in east Jacksonville.
According to WKMG, the man was merging onto the freeway from Arlington Road at about 2 a.m. when his motorcycle hit the median. The impact threw the man from his motorcycle and into a metal pole nearby.
The rider, an unidentified 57-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Trooper say he did not have a helmet on when the crash occurred.
