1 dead, 1 critically injured after Jacksonville 3-vehicle crash
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A crash between a van and two sedans left one dead and another hospitalized Friday.
The collision occurred around 1 p.m. on U.S. 17, Action News Jax reported.
One sedan was traveling south, and the other sedan and van were heading north.
The northbound sedan drifted into the southbound lanes and hit the van’s left side.
The northbound sedan rotated counterclockwise and slammed into the second sedan.
The impact caused the van to roll over and come to rest in a grassy area.
The driver of the southbound sedan was hospitalized for critical injuries,, and the passenger succumbed to fatal injuries.
It is unclear if the other occupants of the van and northbound sedan were injured.
