Driver killed in fiery single-vehicle crash in Plantation

MIAMI, FL – Emergency crews responded to a fiery crash on Monday night, which resulted in the closure of a road in Plantation, according to local reports.

Police were still investigating the affected area on Northwest 69th Avenue between Cypress Road and 70th Avenue on Tuesday morning, with a mangled and burned car remaining on the street as evidence of the crash.

According to officials, a vehicle collided with a tree, resulting in the driver’s death. No further details regarding the driver or the circumstances leading up to the crash were immediately available.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area while emergency crews continue their investigation. Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact local law enforcement.
