Two injured in tractor-trailer, SUV crash on I-275 in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A tractor-trailer crash prompted traffic delays in both directions on I-275 in the early hours of Monday.
In a report from WFLA, a collision had already taken place on the interstate. In an attempt to avoid the scene of the crash, the driver of the tractor-trailer pushed the brake pedal hard, so the semi jackknifed and slammed into an SUV.
The SUV driver and semi-truck driver both sustained minor injuries. In addition, parts of a concrete wall and fuel and vehicle fluids fell onto the roads.
