1 dead, 4 hurt in Settlers Landing 3-vehicle crash

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Four people were hospitalized, and one was left dead after a head-on crash Wednesday, News 4 Jax reported.

The collision occurred before midnight at Shindler Drive and Hipps Road.

A driver of a Dodge and a driver of a Toyota were waiting at the intersection. A driver of a Honda then crashed into the Toyota as the Toyota driver was turning left onto Hipps Road.

The impact of the collision caused the driver of the Honda to crash head-on with the Dodge.

One Honda passenger and all of the drivers were seriously injured, while the other Honda occupant succumbed to fatal injuries.
