One dead in car vs. pedestrian crash in Orlando

ORLANDO, FL – A pedestrian was left dead after getting hit by a car on East Colonial Drive around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene, WFTV 9 reported. It is unclear what led to the collision.

The westbound lanes of Colonial Drive near Sandy Creek Lane closed and have reopened since.
