Miami Police IDs box truck driver killed in Allapattah crash

MIAMI, FL – Officials have confirmed the name of the box truck driver who was killed in a crash in the Allapattah district, NBC Miami reported.

The collision happened at the intersection of Northwest 25th Ave. and Northwest 26th St. before noon on Friday, March 31st.

It is unclear how the police cruiser collided with the box truck. This detail is under current investigation by the Miami Police Department.

The police officers were hurt, while 64-year-old Angel Morales lost his life.
