Man dead after his truck doesn’t yield to stop sign in Moore Haven
MOORE HAVEN, FL – A driver of a pickup truck declined to stop for a stop sign at SR 78 and collided with a dump truck Tuesday.
According to NBC-2, the driver of the pickup truck was traveling north on Ortona Road before he drove through the stop sign. At the same time, a driver of a dump truck was driving east on SR 78. As a result, the driver of the garbage truck crashed into the pickup truck.
No injuries were reported for the dump truck driver. However, the pickup truck driver, a 37-year-old man, was taken to Hendry Regional Hospital, where he later died.
