Boy, 16, killed in fiery crash in Miami Shores

MIAMI SHORES, FL – A teenage boy lost control of his vehicle before crashing into a tree, causing the car to catch fire Thursday.

The collision occurred before 11 p.m. near the intersection of North Miami Avenue and Northeast 99th Street, according to NBC Miami.

The 16-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries and was killed at the scene.

Miami-Dade Police are investigating additional details surrounding this fatal crash.
