Lee County deputies on scene crash near SW FL Int. Airport

FORT MYERS, FL – Lee County deputies are investigating a collision that happened near the Southwest Florida International Airport before 5 p.m. Thursday.

The crash took place at the Daniels Parkway and Commonwealth Drive intersection, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials have not indicated what prompted this collision, how many vehicles and people were involved, or whether anyone was hurt.
