Deputies, civilian hurt after 2-car crash on I-95 in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – One driver and two Jacksonville deputies were hospitalized for their injuries after a two-vehicle crash on I-95 South Tuesday.
According to News 4 Jax, the officers were responding to a rollover collision. They checked on the motorist, who was okay and had plans to file out paperwork and call a tow truck. Then another vehicle spun out of control, striking the two officers and the motorist.
The driver who hit the deputies and motorist was unharmed.
The motorist was hospitalized for critical, life-threatening injuries, and the two officers are in stable condition.
